I’m headed to NX2 training workshop this weekend being conducted by Jason Odell. He has an short demonstration on Friday which has over 70 photog’s attending. It should be a good time.

I traveled out in the wilderness of central Vermont for some camping in my friend’s ‘Taj Ma Tent’…. a fully appointed National Geographic Expedition tent, needless to say my nites rest on a three ply tempur-pedic sleeping pad were quite comfortable. My host, Mr. Knowledge, kept me quite entertained with stories of our mispent youth as we got our camp on watching fire dance into the night.

I had the opportunity to hike 3.7 (R/T) miles at 4:00am to capture some remarkable Images of Vermont’s largest dam, and I’ll be posting some images up shortly

Did you miss the announcement that NIkon is selling their gear direct ? Interesting that Nikon will be competing with your local or big house stores as Nikon sets up its own online distribution network…selling cameras is not a core competency of NIkon, nor is service from what I’ve read, so this may not be so good for the prosumers in the long run….I’m really waiting to see what Thom Hogon says about this one…but Nikon is loosing some margin, by letting Amazon and others sell via the net …

I’ve read that OWC has a program to upgrade your MAC processor in 2 days, I’m trying to dig into that a bit more
