As we take time to honor our past and present veterans whose service for the last two hundred + years has allowed our country’s citizens to remain safe from harms way. It really saddens US all, that our citizenship peacetime efforts to safeguard the environment has been hit with the nations/world’s worst manmade disasters in the past 30 years. The truth of this affront to nature will prevail, and it will involve greed, geo-politics, haste, poor training, poor safety, poor equipment, poor process…with our Whitehouse leaders unprepared as 9/11, Katrina, Exxon Valdez to prevent or stabilize a solution….It is very painful to watch the wasting away of water, wetlands and wildlife……..our veterans expected more of our citizenship while they fight the other enemy….
