Happy New Year

I would like to thank everyone for your support, viewership and comments during the past twelve months. As you may know, this site is just a year old. It was started after a workshop with Moose Peterson who posed the questions, ‘ What are you going to do with your Images ?, let them sit on a hard drive….?…the balance of the story can be read on this blog, A New Dawn.

In the past year, I have been fortunate to work with and talk with some of the best in the business. That includes photographers, suppliers and authors. For starters, and to drop a few names, my virtual mentor Moose/Sharon Peterson, my gear guy Jeff Synder (Adorama), my new dawn II OZ guru Vince Versace, my reality checker Prez (film+B&W developer), my creative inspiration Minkus (daughter), my NX2 teacher Jason O’Dell, Milford Conn Camera club, my favored colleague John Bruckman, the tech and lens lord Lloyd Chambers, best supplier: 2Filters, RRS, Think Tank luggage, get your tech gear here: Other World Computing, creative inspiration Molly Bang, Vera Neuman, Heather Sheilds at the Vera company, Lee Varis, Moose Workshop Alumni, staff at Maine Media Workshops, Ryan @Atlex papers, Brightsceen, Photofast CF cards, Mr. terminology, Charlie Nelson, Nikon and photo overlord Thom Hogan, Darin Reed, John Krizan, Action Runner, Galen Rowell Gallery, Nikonians, founding fritzimages followers Chaz M, Jan Winter, my Lost in the Sierra Mountaintop model, Daniell and Fred, Jay over at the Laws museum up past Bishop, and old friends from my sordid past, Willy, Mr. Knowledge, Robbin, the Nashua crew, Allie B aka the peeper, my logo designer and death valley acrobat, N8R, from my favorite shot of the year, Kian and his parents….whew….

then there is all the gear, software, hardware, computers, bags, computers, and did I mention NIKON lenses, so if you ask my favorite, it’s a toss up, the new 85mm f/14, the 105mm f/2.8g ..then there is the 45mm pce..and the 24mm f/1.4G…wait then there is the 70-200mm, damn you need the tc-20 IIIe, and my over the shoulder get the clutter in bag, the Arc’teyx shoulder pack, the best hardware improvement purchase of the year, hands down the arc-swiss C1-CUBE ballhead…last but not least my confidant and muse, Paige ..
