John, Thanks for sending me the link to your Flicker site and providing your okay to use your Images.
I recall that the number of shorebirds was quite low during the day of our shoot, somehow you managed to capture the lone bird that was previously wading in the shallows in a very compelling action flight shot, white birds on a white sky can be a technically tough shot. This one came out quite well.

John writes about his Images, ‘ I used a D80 with a 70mm to 300mm lens Then my baby Nikon D700 with a 24mm to 70mm F2.8 lens and a GPS unit. So I can remember were I took the photos. When you look at my page then click on a photo on the right of the picture there will be a map of were it was taken, Then above the map there will be my camera model that I used , like D700 or D80 If you click on D700 you will get all my Exif data from that one photo….’ link
