This is a simple burst for a sun trail. If you look closely you can see the four wind-towers on the top ridge. The scene is missing the sounds of early morning songbirds, owls, doves, and other critters. You also have to use your imagination as you feel the cool ground fog give way to the pre-warming of the earth by the sun.
Sunrise is deferred by half an hour because these mountains creates a longer climb for the sun. I have traveled to this spot about half a dozen times and have yet to see the same visual morning Images. I am very blessed to see this country still in its almost colonial state….except the windmills …
