What’s this, Pop Art ???……no it is a technique passed on by Vincent Versace called an IMAGE MAP. The concept is to look at your image before you start working on it and decide what you are going to do with light, contrast, the flow of the visitors eye, perhaps how you plan to tie in the IMAGE Harvesting. Each color represents a layer in Photoshop, and the brilliance of the technology of the software is the layer concept.
Once you have created your individual layers, you can call them back up and overlay them on your work, so you can refresh your thoughts, about how you first contemplated the action. It is not a really simple idea to get across, but it is very wonderful technique to learn. I have embedded Vince’s YouTube video in the sidebar so that he can explain it himself in his own worlds.
