When the D4 was launched, I read a lot of blogs saying that the differences between the D3s and the D4 were so minor that it was not worth the upgrade effort. I found that to be untrue. The dynamic range, focus improvement and buffer were enough to make the switch. I am now reading the same columnist saying the D4 to D4s jump is not worth the upgrade effort. I beg to differ, right off the bat, I can now use my D4 batteries and XQF cards on two bodies, the focus has improved again as well as the addition of a focus group feature. I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on the D4s and trying it out. I’m calculating that it is going to be a better camera for my wildlife photography and that is a prime reason for the upgrade.
